Approval Semantics Reference
An approval authorizes one presented consequence. It is permission to attempt, not proof of execution or success.
| Approval | Target identity | Does not authorize |
|---|---|---|
| Canvas draft apply | Current guarded draft fingerprint | Save or run |
| Saved Flow apply | Saved Flow ID, revision, and fingerprint | Draft change or run |
| Saved Flow run | Current Saved Flow revision and fingerprint | Later runs or Scripts |
| Script execution | Presented Script source identity and runtime boundary | Other Scripts or a future run |
Pioneer rechecks target guards after approval. Changed state yields a stale or conflict result rather than automatic rebase. See Human Authority.
