Memory

Memory contains durable records and a separate relevance-retrieval operation.

Remember, Browse, and Recall

  • Remember is the Chat tool that writes a record with content, kind, source, confidence, tags, and optional vector evidence.
  • Browse lists the newest bounded set of durable records and provides local filters for content, kind, source, and tag.
  • Recall sends a query, optional kind constraint, and result limit to the retrieval pipeline. It preserves backend order, method, rank, and score.

A Recall score is ranking evidence, not a truth or quality probability. Browse proving that a record exists does not prove that every Recall query will return it.

Forget

Select a durable record and choose Forget. Pioneer presents a destructive confirmation because the current product does not provide undo. Forget removes the selected durable record; it is not a general Memory reset.

Memory Sink evidence

Keep these states distinct:

configured Memory Sink != executed Memory Sink != proven persisted record

A Canvas block proves configuration. A completed block proves execution. A specific record returned by Browse, Recall, or a bounded persistence result is the PERSISTED evidence that Memory contains it. See the Memory Sink reference.
