Memory Sink Block

Memory Sink writes content from incoming rows to durable Pioneer Memory and passes the rows stream through.

Configuration

  • content_field selects the row value to store;
  • kind is one of fact, decision, preference, note, or context;
  • source, confidence, and tags add provenance and retrieval metadata;
  • tag_fields can derive tags from row fields;
  • max_rows bounds writes when supplied; and
  • vector requests embedding storage when available.

Stored confidence is a weighting field, not a truth probability.

Three separate states

  1. Configured Memory Sink — the Flow contains write intent. No record has necessarily been written.
  2. Executed Memory Sink — run evidence says the block completed and reports its row behavior. Completion is not an exact record link.
  3. Proven persisted record — Browse, Recall, or bounded persistence evidence identifies the durable record in Memory.

Use the third state before claiming persistence. A later Forget action can remove the record, so persistence evidence also has an observation time.
